Abstract:
To provide a method for collecting zinc in an iron-making dust, which includes more efficient steps and is more economical than a conventional wet method.
This collecting method includes a zinc elution step, a solid-liquid separation step and a zinc collection step. The zinc collection step includes bringing a chelate 30 in contact with an eluate 21, by passing the eluate 21 through a facility having the chelate 30 therein such as a chelate tower to convert zinc in the eluate 21 to a sole zinc ion from a zinc-ammonia complex ion through a zinc chelate complex.
