Title:
METHOD OF COMPENSATING TEMPERATURE FOR SEMICONDUCTOR PRESSURE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62175632
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize an ideal zero point temperature compensation to be used when strict accuracy is demanded about temperature characteristic or other cases, by connecting temperature compensation resistance to a gauge resistance in a series or a parallel to adjust the resistance value thereof so that the output of a bridge circuit reaches a predetermined value.

CONSTITUTION: A temperature compensation resistance R5 is inserted into a gauge resistance R4 in a series and the ambient temperature is set to a reference temperature T0 while the ambient pressure to zero (pressure causing no distortion of a diaphragm). the value of the resistance R5 is adjusted so that an output voltage of a pressure sensor will be Voa (zero point output voltage). Thus, the value of the temperature compensation resistance can be determined in a by far shorter time than the conventional without measuring the temperature-gauge resistance value characteristic and temperature-output characteristic of the pressure sensor.
