Abstract:
To provide a new method for completely decomposing 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane in the presence of a catalyst.
The decomposition method for completely decomposing the 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane through 4-(2-propanol)phenol and 4-isopropenylphenol to carbon dioxide and water by reacting the 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane in the presence of oxygen and a biocatalyst (a cultured cell of a plant).
