Abstract:

To provide a method and a composition for the care of contact lenses, the method and the composition exhibiting an effect of suppressing adhesion of microorganisms.

A method for suppressing adhesion of microorganisms to a contact lens or a contact lens case is provided, characterized by immersing a contact lens for a given time or longer in a composition for the care of contact lenses, the composition containing a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester and a buffer.
