PURPOSE: To save the manpower and improve the productivity by shortening a cycle time by a method wherein after an object to be packed is compression-molded, it is automatically wrapped with a wrapping material having flexibility and with reinforcing materials automatically applied, outer surfaces are bundled by a bundling belt.

CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower reinforcing materials 5a, 5b and upper and lower wrapping materials 6a, 6b are supplied to a compression device 61, while a lower wrapping device 63 is elevated until the lower wrapping material 6b closes the bottom of a mobile compression box 56. An upper press seat 74 of an upper wrapping device 62 lowers to compression-mold a toe 57 in the compression box 56 with specific compressive force to a specific height. The toe 57 complete with compression is automatically wrapped by the lower wrapping device 63 and the upper wrapping device 62 in the sequence of lower wrapping and upper wrapping. After slips of the upper and lower reinforcing materials 5a, 5b are folded, a band extending device 78 and a band guide device 79 push side reinforcing materials 19a, 19b against the toe lump sides and bundle with a bundling belt 20. Then mirror finished surface reinforcing materials 21a, 21b are brought into contact with mirror finished surfaces 87a, 87b on the surface, a band 88 is extended by a bundling machine, and a bundling unit 91 of a bundling device 89 lowers to have a band 22 wound sequentially.
