Title:
METHOD FOR CONCENTRATING GOLD FROM COPPER SULFIDE MINERAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010235999
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for leaching copper from copper sulfide minerals containing gold, concentrating gold in the remaining residue after the leaching and effectively separating and collecting gold, in a smelting process of collecting copper from the copper sulfide minerals with a wet method.

This concentrating method includes: pressure-leaching copper from the copper sulfide minerals containing gold by sulfuric acid at a temperature of higher than 102°C and equal to or less than 112°C; separating the obtained residue after the leaching, into floating ore and sinking ore by ore flotation; heating the floating ore obtained by the ore flotation at a temperature of 250-800°C under an inert atmosphere to remove sulfur; oxidizing-roasting the desulfurized substance by heating the desulfurized substance at a temperature of 600-800°C in an atmosphere in which oxygen or air flows; and dissolving the oxidizing-roasted substance with a sulphuric acid solution to separate and collect the gold-containing residue from a copper-dissolving solution.
