The method of confirming spring back countermeasure effect calculates a residual stress distribution before mold release of an object to be molded under a preset molding condition. Based on the result thereof, the method calculates a residual stress distribution of an object to be molded after mold release and calculates a difference between residual stress distributions based on the results thereof. Similarly, under a changed molding condition, the method acquires a difference of residual stress distributions and based on the result of the difference of the residual stress distributions, acquires a variation of the residual stress distributions under the changed molding condition so as to subject it to contour display.
