Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and surely connect nichrome wires and lead wires of a surface heater by using a connecting terminal.
CONSTITUTION: The surface heater having the nichrome wires formed by pattern wirings and the lead wires for supplying currents to these nichrome wires is constituted by holding the nichrome wires 7 to a connecting terminal 1 consisting of a bent clad material which has an aperture 6 on its front surface and consists of a non-molten metal 2 on the outer side and a molten metal 3 on the inner side and by irradiating the aperture 6 with a light beam 9 to braze the nichrome wires 7 and the connecting terminal 1, then joining the connecting terminals 1 and the lead wires.
