Abstract:
To provide a method for connecting a car weather strip realizing an improvement for lowering a pressing load at a connection part of the weather strip or the like.
In the connection method of the weather strip comprising: butting two end faces of the weather strip 1 and 2 having the same cross section of the right and left sides; and a thermoplastic resin film melt-adhered by heating between the faces, the material of the resin film is made of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) containing 1-20%, preferably 5-10% of vinyl acetate, and a melting point of the resin film is 60-200°C, preferably 80-150°C. Further, the thickness of the resin film of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) is 0.005-1.000 mm, preferably 0.020-0.100 mm.
