Abstract:
PURPOSE: To connect the wire coil lead of a stator coil to a terminal with a core by turning a wire part that is gripped by a clamping device around the edge of the core, bending and pulling it on the edge of a terminal, and then breaking it. CONSTITUTION: A coil lead 38 is gripped by a gripping jaw 56 of an industrial robot. An initial gripping pressure is low so that the coil lead wire 38 can slide, even if it is gripped by the gripping jaw 56. The coil lead wire 38 is formed in a loop around the edge of a core 34 and passes on it, and further is bent around an upper edge 84 of a terminal leg part 32. When a cutting pull stage is reached, a gripping force is increased, and the free edge of the coil lead 38 is cut off from a part that is connected to a terminal leg part 32 by simply pulling itself downward with a sufficient force, thus connecting a wire part to a terminal with a core by the industrial robot, without requiring special tools.
