Abstract:
To provide a tunnel branch construction method enabling reductions in cost and period of construction work.
At least a portion 5a of the lining of a varying cross-section part 5 where the inner hollow cross section of a tunnel varies along the longitudinal direction of the tunnel because of branching of a line in the tunnel is constructed of shotcrete. The linings of the outer peripheries 5b, 5c of the varying cross-section part 5 are constructed using slide formwork and the lining of the portion 5a of the varying cross-section part except the outer peripheries is constructed of shotcrete.
