Abstract:

To provide an overhang walkway construction method capable of shortening the period in which the passage of vehicles is prohibit.

Overhang walkways are constructed by the method comprising a step for executing primary excavation for forming an outside foundation supporting outside walls to form the outside foundation in an excavated part; a step for executing secondary excavation for forming an inside foundation supporting inside walls to form the inside foundation by installing blocks for the inside foundation in an excavated part; a step for arranging the overhang walkway blocks in rows on the outside foundation and the inside foundation; and a step for poring filling concrete between the outside foundation and the inside foundation and between the outside walls and the inside walls. Since it is possible to perform operations after the secondary excavation, which hinder the passage of vehicles, in a short period, hindrances to the passage of vehicles are reduced.
