PURPOSE: To enable the execution of works on an extremely narrow site without requiring a large-sized crane having high height.
CONSTITUTION: A tower-shaped bearing guide work frame 3 having the height of approximately double as long as a connecting columnar body 2 is mounted on the foundation 1 of a columnar body to be constructed, and the connecting columnar body of an uppermost section is introduced into the bearing guide work frame 3 under an upright state. The connecting columnar body 2 is pushed up to an upper section until a space having the height of one connecting columanr body can be formed in a lower section by a pushing-up device 5 while being slidably borne by a plurality of hold-down guide rollers 4 vertically set up on the internal surface of the bearing guide work frame 3. The next connecting columanr body 2 is charged into the space, the upper and lower connecting columnar bodies 2, 2 are connected and unified mutually, and these connecting columnar bgodies 2, 2 are pushed up by the pushing-up device 5. A process, in which a new connecting columnar body 2 is further charged successively into the lower space of the lower connecting columnar body 2 and joined similarly, is repeated.
