PURPOSE: To execute pickling treatment to a hoop with a pickling soln. by the amt. required in the irreducible minimum at all times, at the time of subjecting the hoop to pickling treatment, while it is continuously passed in a treating bath, by keeping the amt. of a pickling soln. to be fed into nozzles at the inlet side of the treating bath constant and proportionating the flow rate of a pickling soln. at the outlet side to the speed of the hoop.
CONSTITUTION: While a hoop 2 is conveyed in the right direction in a pickling treatment tank 3, a pickling soln. is sprayed on the hoop 2 from nozzles 8a and 8b at the inlet side and a nozzle 8c at the outlet side, and pickling treatment is executed. On the way of a pipeline 12 for feeding the pickling soln., a flow rate control valve 17 is provided, which is connected to a flow rate control apparatus 18. The flow rate of the pickling soln. in the nozzles 8a and 8b at the inlet side is kept certain at all times in spite of the running speed of the hoop 2, and the flow rate of the pickling soln. from the nozzle 8c at the outlet side is changed in such a manner that it is straightly proportionated to the running speed of the hoop 2 by the control of the flow rate controlling valve 17, by which the minimum flow rate can always be kept, and the flow rate of the pickling soln. as a whole can be suppressed to the irreducible minimum of requirement.
