To provide a method of control in which reference value can be taken in as accurately as possible and protection of an electric driving apparatus from heat is guaranteed in controlling the electric driving apparatus which controls a controlled variable (the present value) to the reference value.

At first, the controlled variable is controlled to the reference value so that the reference value can be taken in as accurately as possible, and then the control process is interrupted, where a continuous examination as to whether the difference between the controlled variable and the reference value is over the prescribed threshold value is made. Finally, when the difference reaches or goes over the threshold value, the interruption of the control process is ended.
