Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling a combined line including a cold rolling mill in which the material of a metallic strip is not changed in quality by making treating equipment so as not to be stopped even when the rolling with the cold rolling mill is stopped.
CONSTITUTION: A stage where the stopping distance of rolling and the rolling stop of the cold rolling mill 8 are estimated and the stored amount of an intermediate looper 7 which is disposed between the cold rolling mill 8 and a prescribed pickling tank 4 which is disposed on the upstream side of the mill is decreased before the rolling stop and a stage where the treatment in the pickling tank 4 is continued at a line speed based on the stopping distance of rolling and stored amount of the intermediate looper 7 when the rolling stop of the cold rolling mill is started are provided.
