Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the thermal efficiency and the productivity of a heating furnace by flowing exhaust gas suction quantity and combustion air supplying quantity always to near the max. values of a heat storage type burner capacity and increasing a fuel/air ratio at the time of reducing a combustion load.
SOLUTION: At the time of heating a material 11 to be heated in the heating furnace 7, the combustion air supplying quantity of the combustion side heat storage type burner 2 and the exhaust gas suction quantity of the heat-storage side heat storage type burner 2 in a preheating zone 3 are set close to the max. value of the heat type burner 2 capacity. When the combustion load of the heat storage type burner reduces, the fuel/air ratio is increased. By this method, the combustion air quantity and the exhaust gas suction quantity are always secured close to the max. value of the heat storage type burner 2 capacity and sucked to the heat storage side heat storage type burner 2 together with a part of the high temp. exhaust gas of a heating zone 5 and a soaking zone 6 flowed into the preheating zone 3. The heat storing quantity can be increased and the thermal efficiency can be improved.
