Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide whether a power supply source is a solar battery or not in a method for controlling a DC-DC converter.
SOLUTION: A control unit 7 changes the conduction ratio of a switching element 6, senses the voltage change of an input terminal 2 of the power supply source 1 by a voltage sensor 3, and decides whether the source 1 is the solar battery or not from the change history of the voltage. The control unit 7 can decide the source 1 without using another switching means.
