Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix the cooling speed and the temperature all over the length of a steel sheet by using a cooling pattern module in which an arbitrary combi nation can be made by a cooling equipment at each division of a rolled stock divided in the longitudinal direction.
CONSTITUTION: The rolled stock is divided in the longitudinal direction, the temperature, cooling speed and cooling medium flow density of the rolled stock making the targets decided by the reason of quality and operation at each division and each cooling control are given to cooling equipments 4, 5 at every elapsed time after completion of an arbitrary rolling and at every arbitrary point set on the cooling equipment and the cooling pattern module capable of arbitrary combination is used to each divided piece of the cooling equipments 4, 5. In this way, the cooling control to each part of the steel sheet after continuous hot rolling is diversificated and the cooling speed and the temperature are set all over the steel sheet.
