Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately perform the management of copper anodes by putting a display label in which a code showing lot number is entered on the end face of a cast plate-like copper anode. CONSTITUTION:A display label (bar code) 3 in which codes showing lot number, the serial number of each lot, the total number of respective lots, and the weight of each copper anode 1 are entered is put on the upper end face of the lug 2 of a cast plate-like copper anode 1. Respective bar codes 3 are read by a reader, and respective data entered in the bar codes 3 are inputted to a computer. Subsequently, these copper anodes 1 are arranged in a state stood on end by lots and stored in an anode storage space. By this method, by reading each bar code 3 by means of the reader, the lot to which the copper anode 1 belongs and also the serial number, weight, etc., of the anode 1 can be easily discriminated and, as a result, the lot management of the copper anodes 1 can easily be carried out.
