Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a motor by accurately obtaining the final stop position of the rotating member without receiving influence of elongation of wire coupling between a DC servo motor and a valve.
SOLUTION: A rotating member 2 to be driven with a DC servo motor 1 and operating member 4 for operating a valve 3 are coupled with wires 5, 6 to drive a valve 3. At the time of starting the control of motor 1, the final stop position of the rotating member can be obtained accurately by repeating the process to obtain, as the final stop position of the rotating member, the difference between the stop position of the rotating member 2 when the valve is moved to the full opening position from the full closing position and is then stopped while the motor is driven and the stop position of the rotating member 2 when drive of motor is canceled. Thereafter, the motor 1 is controlled so that the rotating member does not exceed the final stop position and drive of motor is stopped when the rotating member reaches the final stop position.
