Title:
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISCHARGE AMOUNT OF COKE PUSHED OUT OF COKE OVEN CHAMBER AT LOW TEMPERATURE AND THERMALLY BAKED IN CDQ
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07109463
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve average qualify and reduce variation in quality by determining the min. dwell time in a prechamber from carbonizing conditions including at least either the oven wall temp. or soaking time in a coke oven to control the discharge amt. of cooled coke.

CONSTITUTION: A semicoke pushed out of a coke oven chamber of a chamber oven at a coke temp. at the center of the chamber of 600-900°C is charged into the prechamber of CDQ, where a combustible gas remaining in the semicoke is burned by introducing air into the prechamber and the semicoke is tin-baked, thus giving a blast furnace coke. In this process, the state of carbonization of the semicoke charged into the CDQ is estimated from baking conditions including at least one baking condition selected from the time, temp., and pattern of baking to determine the min. dwell time in the prechamber necessary for baking the semicoke. The discharge amt. of cooled coke is controlled so that the dwell time of the semicoke is not shorter than the min. dwell time.
