PURPOSE: To provide the drive control method for cyclic drive carrying trucks in which the carrying of a cargo is continued by the cyclic drive carrying trucks not faulty by circulating the cyclic drive carrying trucks on a railway when a faulty cyclic drive carrying truck satisfies a prescribed condition required for safe drive even if any of the plural cyclic drive carrying trucks is faulty.

CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with a loop railway 10, plural cyclic drive carrying trucks 11 running on the railway 10, and a ground control panel sending various command signals to the cyclic drive carrying trucks 11, and the cyclic drive carrying trucks are stopped by a command from the ground control panel at a home position 12 being a prescribed position of the railway 10 and moved to a destination by the command of the ground control panel. In the drive control method for the cyclic drive carrying trucks 11 as above, when any of the cyclic drive carrying trucks 11 is faulty and a prescribed condition for safe drive is satisfied, the cyclic drive carrying trucks 11 continue driving through the home position 12 without the drive command from the ground control panel.
