Abstract:

To set the output characteristic of an engine to the optimum state regardless of the load or mechanical tolerance when the engine rotating speed is set to an optional rotating speed according to working environments and working characteristics.

A standard throttle level position for outputting an intended engine characteristic is set by the signal from an engine output characteristic setting means, the error between the throttle lever position signal from a throttle lever position detecting means and the intended standard throttle lever position is arithmetically calculated, a control arithmetic signal is then calculated so that the magnitude of this error is within a fixed tolerance range corresponding to the mechanical tolerance of an engine throttle control mechanism, and the resulting control arithmetic signal is outputted to a throttle lever driving motor to control the engine rotating speed.
