Abstract:
PURPOSE: To operate a frequency converter in modulation mode with low number of pulses in high working frequency range. CONSTITUTION: One modulation mode is selected among a plurality of stored modulation modes based on the working frequency f1 of current of a frequency converter. Switching angles (α1 , α2 ,..., αn ) associated with coefficients (f1 /fres ) and a selected modulation mode are then determined in relation to the working frequency according to a predetermined stored switching angle characteristic curve and then a control time for a pulse reverse converter is determined.
