Abstract:

To provide a method for controlling a furnace pressure, which can surely prevent an invasion of air into a heating furnace.

This method for controlling the furnace pressure includes adjusting a suction rate of exhaust gas from the burner to a thermal storage substance, according to a combustion load of the whole heating furnace; in the heating furnace which has a preheating range, a heating range and a soaking range, and which arranges several pairs of regenerative burners as heat sources of the soaking range, in which a pair of burners provided with thermal storage substances is arranged so as to face each other; when sucking up exhaust gas in the furnace from the pausing burner and introducing the exhaust gas to the thermal storage substance, to collect heat in the exhaust gas to the thermal storage substance, along with operating alternately each pair of the burners of the regenerative burners, and operating the heating furnace while using the collected heat for heating the combustion air of the working burner.
