Abstract:
To crystallize molten slag by using a rotating body such as a rotating drum or the like for solving the problem that a mixture of glass and crystals is produced and a homogeneous slag cannot be obtained because the interior of a particle is not quenched and cooled gradually to become crystallized while the surface of the particle is vetrified when the slag is plunged into water.
The molten slag is contacted to the rotating body 4 such as the rotating drum, a recessed or protruding rotating receiving pot or the like by raising and lowering the rotating speed of the body and the slag 6 is hardened by cooling by controlling the cooling speed of the slag 6 by scattering the molten slag 6 by the rotation of the rotor 4.
