Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently manufacture an insulated wire with ease where generation quantity of a waste wire is small by calculating a timing of hopper switching and cross-over by means of a controller, and automatically controlling the timing on the basis of a command output from the controller.
CONSTITUTION: In replacing a used resin with a fresh one, a rotating amount of an extruder 5 from switching of hoppers 6, 7 until consumption of only the used resin A and a rotating amount of the extruder 5 from the switching of the hoppers 6, 7 until consumption of a mixture of the used and fresh resins are stored as parameters in a controller 14. When a replacement command of resin materials is output, the controller 14 calculates a length of an insulated wire 9 from the hopper switching time point before full measurement until the full measurement length and a length of a waste wire where the used and fresh resins are mixed on the basis of a measurement length, wire speed, and full measurement length of the insulating wire 9, and rotating amounts. Switching of the hoppers 6, 7 and cross-over of a winding machine 11 are carried out based on the calculated result.
