Title:
METHOD OF CONTROLLING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE MOUNTED WITH GAS DYNAMICS PRESSURE WAVE FEEDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004100690
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method of controlling an internal combustion engine mounted with gas dynamics pressure wave feeder, capable of avoiding operation failure or damage of the gas dynamics pressure wave feeder, and simultaneously materializing increase in output and low level consumption.

The gas dynamics pressure wave feeder has a rotatable housing for adjusting process adjusting during the whole operation process of the internal combustion engine, and an aperture varying means for a high pressure exhaust channel or a gas collecting portion variable opening. At positive load change, the operation speed of the gas dynamics pressure wave feeder and the housing are synchronized to a suitable state stored in the operation process, and by the aperture varying means for the high pressure exhaust channel or the gas collecting portion variable opening, required intake pressure according to the operation process of the engine is obtained. At negative load change, the operation speed of the gas dynamics pressure wave feeder and the housing are synchronized to a suitable state stored in the operation process, the aperture varying means for the high pressure exhaust channel or the gas collecting portion variable opening are opened as far as possible, thereby keeping differential pressure between high pressure intake air and high pressure exhaust at a small degree as far as possible.
