Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the pouring efficiency of molten metal by a ladle.
CONSTITUTION: The pouring ladle 1 may not only be tilted around a permanent tilting axis 6 by a tilting device 3 and a cable 4 in order to terminate a pouring stage by pouring the molten metal 1a into respective molds but also the tilting axis 6 may be lifted by as much as a prescribed value by a rising device 11. The tilting motion of the pouring ladle 1 is executed at nearly the centroid S of the molten metal by lifting the tilting axis. This tilting motion evades the compensation of the flow motion and surge motion of the molten metal when the ladle tilts forward and backward.
