Abstract:

To provide a method for controlling optical beam injected from the lighting system of a car according to the configuration of a road.

This method comprises a step 30 for sensing at least one information related to the movement of the car by at least one sensor mounted on the car, a step 20 for acquiring data on a navigation system having the configuration and confidence coefficient of the road, and a step 40 for comparing the confidence coefficient with a predetermined threshold. When the confidence coefficient is higher than the threshold, at least a part of the data on the navigation system is adopted to determine instructions to be transmitted to the lighting system and, after a step 70 for comparing the instructions with those based only on one or a plurality of information related to the movement of the car, effective instructions on illumination are determined. When the confidence coefficient is lower than the threshold, the instructions on illumination are determined based on only the results of the step 30 for sensing at least one information related to the movement of the car.
