Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method for controlling paper feeding in a sheet printing machine and a device for detecting inaccurate paper feeding by which the number of times for shutdown of the machine is decreased by accurate register detection and also sorting of a good sheet and a bad sheet is surely performed.
SOLUTION: In the case of controlling paper feeding in the sheet printing machine, after performing positioning of a sheet in the flow direction and the cross direction by a positioning device of the downstream end part of a feeder board part, the sheet fed out of a sheet feeder one by one is brought into a printing equipment through a swing gripper. After the sheet reaches the positioning device, a primary state of the sheet is detected (a point θ1 of time) by a register detector. It is judged in accordance with a primary detection signal of the register detector whether the sheet is gripped by the swing gripper. Thereafter, when it is judged that the sheet is gripped, a secondary state of the sheet is detected (a point θ2 of time) just after the swing gripper grips the sheet. The following mechanical operating state is controlled in accordance with a secondary detection signal of the register detector.
