PURPOSE: To enable the control of a dry molding machine for powder raw material to be effected suitably automatically without being dependent upon operator's knowledge.
CONSTITUTION: At the same time of molding tiles by a press molding machine 18, a sampling inspection for tiles is conducted at intervals of a constant period by an automatic inspection device including a CCD camera 26, and the inspection result information is forwarded to a host computer 32, so as to carry out a narrow breadth correction for a set value of molding conditions on the basis of a predetermined calculation formula, and the press molding machine 18 is permitted to operate based on the corrected value. Herein, this operation is repeated till the occurrence of defects ceases finally, and the set value correction is executed successively, next followed by permitting press operation to carry on by taking a corrected set value at the time when the occurrence of defects stops finally as being the most suitable set value.
