Abstract:
PURPOSE:To maintain the pressure of process steam below or above prescribed levels in a plant in which automatic control is performed to optimize the passed quantity of steam through each of plural turbines, by changing the set value of a pressure regulator when the deviation of the pressure up or down from the prescribed level is detected. CONSTITUTION:A back pressure turbine 1 and extraction back pressure turbines 2 are provided with process steam pressure detectors 7 and process pressure setting units 8, 9. When the back pressure process steam pressure 17 or the extraction process steam pressure 12 has deviated up or down from a prescribed high level 13 or 14 or a low prescribed level 16 or 21, the extraction pressure regulator 4 or back pressure regulator 3 of each turbine is operated by interlock action to control the process steam pressure 12 or 17 to return up or down to the prescribed level 14, 15, 20 or 21.
