Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the best use of advantages of low cost and space saving in a common driving system and a block mill system and individually and independently execute speed control.
SOLUTION: At the time of adding a vertical roll 4 and a horizontal roll 5 one by one to a block mill 1 which is driven with one motor, by incorporating a coupler of a type making use of frictional force in the shafts 7a, 7b of a speed accelerator 7 and executing speed control, the dimensional accuracy of products comparable to an individual driving system rolling mill is attained.
