Abstract:
PURPOSE: To avoid the electrical self lock of a step motor based on a dynamic inversion when a control unit fails, by providing a dynamic means for inverting the polarity of a signal flow between control and output units. CONSTITUTION: In a control method consisting of a target value input unit 1, a control unit 2, an output unit 3, and a step motor 4, a dynamic stage 5 is provided between the control unit 2 and the output unit 3. The dynamic stage 5 periodically reports the inversion of a control signal from the control unit 2 to the control unit 2. The control unit 2 performs the preventive pre- inversion of the control signal responding to it and performs a normal control by combining the pre-inversion and the inversion of the dynamic stage 5. In this case, when the control unit 2 fails and does not perform the pre-inversion, the average value of a control current and a field vector that is synthesized by it become zero, thus avoiding an electrical self-lock state when a failure occurs.
