Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the weaving rate of a warp in one portion having a small crossing number to the weaving rate of a warp in the other portion having a large crossing number.
SOLUTION: This IJINGU method on the production of a woven fabric in which the crossing number of a warp to wefts in one lateral portion of the woven fabric is smaller than that in the other portion, comprising unwinding a warp for the one portion having the small crossing number and a warp for the other portion having the large crossing number from one warp beam, hanging the warps on rolls, respectively, disposing the exclusive roll for the warp of the one portion in a state capable of being moved in the direction crossing the axial line of the roll, temporally reducing the tension of the warp of the one portion through the exclusive roll just before the beating of a reed, and then increasing the tension of the warp of the one portion through the excluding roll to return to the target tension value after the beating, characterized by detecting the position of the exclusive roll, determining the deviation of the detected position from a set target position, and then correcting at least one of the target tension and a degree for reducing the tension in the direction for dissolving the deviation.
