Abstract:
To provide a method for controlling the tilting speed of a ladle by which the constant molten metal pouring speed can easily be obtained regardless to the tilting angle by controlling the ladle tilting speed when the molten metal is discharged by tilting the ladle.
In this ladle tilting speed control method for obtaining the constant molten metal pouring speed, when the molten metal is poured by tilting the ladle 1 with a ladle tilting device, the ladle 1 is tilted while controlling the ladle tilting speed with the ladle tilting device by detecting the tilting angle of the ladle 1 so that the ladle tilting speed is in inverse proportion to the molten metal surface area S in the ladle corresponding to the detected tilting angle.
