Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling winding of a strip material which is suitable for molding of a pneumatic tire by winding the strip material around a molding drum and can make the weight distribution of the strip material uniform in the circumferential direction of the drum.
SOLUTION: When the strip material S is wound around the molding drum 2 while the material S is injected from a flanger type injection machine 1, in a method for controlling the piston speed of the injection machine 1 and the surface speed of the drum 2 with the passage of time, in a winding adjustment period T2 set between an initial winding period T1 and a final winding period T2, the ratio of the surface speed of the material S to the supply speed of the material S calculated from the piston speed of the injection machine 1 is set optionally, and the starting end S1 and final end S2 of the material S are arranged at the same position in the circumferential direction of the drum 2 on the basis of the ratio.
