Title:
METHOD OF CONVERTING COLOR OF LIGHT IMAGES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5456430
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To convert the colors of light images by using reflecting media having specular reflection ability for A and irregular reflection ability for B in different wavelength regions A, B.

CONSTITUTION: Vapor deposition multilayer films which transmit light below 600nm and specular-reflects that above 600nm are formed on one side of an optical filter which absorbes light below, e.g., 500nm, and reflection media which specular- reflect light of a wavelength regions A above 600nm and irregular-reflects light of a wavelength regions B of 500 to 600nm are foremd on the other side in contact with white paper. Next, the above reflection media 2 are radiated by the light image of the original O which carries black part IBL, red part IC on the white ground, and in the mirror image thereof, the white part of the original O is converted to the mixed colors of the colors of A, B, i.e., pale yellowish color, the black part to the color of B, i.e., green color and the red part to the mixed colors of the colors of A, B, i.e., orange red color. The above color conversion method is also applicable to dichromatic electrophotographic copying method, in addition to the field of display
