Abstract:
The present invention describes a process for conversion of a heavy feed, having high flexibility as regards the production of propylene and gasoline. The process uses a catalytic cracking unit followed by a unit for oligomerization of C3/C4 olefins, C4 or C4/C5 olefins depending on the selected production. The process of the invention encompasses cases in which catalytic cracking is carried out in a single reactor or in two distinct reactors, each reactor possibly functioning in riser or dropper mode. Optionally, an olefinic cut hydrogenation unit may be placed upstream of the oligomerization unit.
