To provide a method for converting incinerated ash into a cement raw material whereby the incinerated ash with a high chlorine concentration is prevented from entering a cement-production process.
The incinerated ash discharged from waste incineration facilities A is housed in housing facilities B and subsequently washed for a long period of time with water sprinkled by a sprinkler 11. Chlorine components are efficiently removed at a desalination rate of ≥90% from the washed incinerated ash which is positioned in the upper part of an aqueduct of salt water inside the housing facilities B. Therefore, the incinerated ash positioned at a depth corresponding to ≤90%, preferably ≤75%, more preferably ≤60% of the total depth from the top is used as the cement raw material.
