Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease consumption of cooling water by providing a nozzle injecting the cooling water to the edge of a blade and both right and left foundation surfaces to a proper position at an acute angle in a turning direction on the foundation surface.
CONSTITUTION: When a pump 1 is driven by a pulley to apply pressure to cooling water, the cooling water is injected from a fan-shaped nozzle 2 to the edge of a blade 3 and both right and left foundation surfaces thereof in a foggy state at an angle of 15-60°. According to the constitution, the scatter caused by the collison of the cooling water with the blade 3 is prevented, so that consumption of the cooling water can be decreased, and quantity of mud to be produced can be decreased.
