PURPOSE: To provide a copying method for a document or the like which can form an image having excellent picture quality on a supporting body provided with normal paper characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: The document copying method for a document or the like consisting of an area having continuous density gradation and an area having two density values characteristically includes four processes, i.e., a process (1) for discriminating the area having the continuous density gradation of the document or the like from the area having two density value, a process (2) for forming the image of the area having the two density values on a supporting body by elecrophotographic method, a process (3) for forming the image of the area having the continuous density gradation on an image recording layer by silver salt photographing method, and a process (4) for laminating the image recording layer forming said image on a prescribed position of the image holding body.
