To provide a method of correcting foundation settlement using sandbags for easily and rapidly correcting the settlement of a foundation of a building.
This method of correcting foundation settlement using the sandbags comprises process for: installing two or more layers of sandbags 2 for supporting the foundation 1, under the foundation 1 where no settlement has occurred; forming a hole 3 for taking out the installed sandbags 2 to the ground when settlement occurs in the foundation 1; forming a space for installing a jack 4 below the foundation 1, below the foundation 1 by removing the sandbags 2 installed under the foundation 1 leaving at least the lowermost layer; installing the jack 4 between the remaining sandbags 2 and the bottom face of the foundation 1 after carrying out the above process; and lifting the sunk foundation 1 by a jack 4 installed in the above process.
