Abstract:

To provide a method for correcting the shape of a counterweight capable of realizing a machining-less method of the counterweight by enhancing the correcting effect.

A set of two wedge-shaped cam dies 7 are inserted between counterweights 3, 3 adjacent to each other across a crank pin part 4, and an outer circumferential surface correction tool 8 is pressed against a cylindrical outer circumferential surface 3a of the counterweights. Pressing tools 9, 10 are advanced from both sides of the pair of counterweights, and the counterweights are restricted under pressure together with the cam dies to correct the shape such as the inclination of each counterweight.
