To provide a method for correcting the zero point of a measuring apparatus, particularly, a flow rate measuring device.
In this method, when the apparatus state and/or process state is differed, a plurality of zero point adjustments are performed, and device parameter records and/or system parameter records are detected and filed with zero measurement values in an electronic storage device each time of the zero point adjustments. In general operation of the measuring apparatus, a device parameter record and/or system parameter record proper to the actual system parameter and/or device parameter is retrieved from the stored records, and a zero measurement value assigned to this parameter record as a result is used as an actual zero point value.
