Abstract:
PURPOSE: To properly control the distributing condition of raw materials and to operate a furnace under a stable furnace condition by precisely detecting the passing time of the raw materials dropped into the furnace in a distributing chute with the intensity of a micro wave at the time of charging the raw materials into a bell-less blast furnace.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of charging the raw materials into the bell-less blast furnace 20, iron ores 12a and bulky cokes 12b are alternately charged into a collecting hopper 15 by opening/closing seal valves 13a, 13b from a furnace top bunker 11a for iron ore 12a and a furnace top bunker 11b for bulky coke 12b and further, charged into the blast furnace 20 by the distributing chute 18 rotating at the fixed speed through a centering chute 16 and a vertical chute 17 to form a raw material stock line 19. In this case, a non-contact type micro wave generator 31 and a receiver 32 in a direction intersecting orthogonally with the flow 25 of the raw materials are set upward the driving device 24 of the distributing chute 18 to precisely detect the time from the charging start of the raw materials to the completion thereof with the received intensity of the micro wave attending on the passing of the raw materials. By this method, the distributing condition in each of raw materials in the stock line 19 is properly controlled to stabilize the furnace condition.
