Abstract:
To provide a method for covering a steel plate deck with concrete, with which heat-expandable microcapsules do not expand even when water (warm water) with a temperature of 60°C or less permeates without heating with a heating device, and the risk that the fiber-reinforced concrete layer peels off the deck plate is reduced.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: selecting a material which is consists of epoxy resin-based primers that contain thermally expandable microcapsules, and which does not expand even when coming in contact with water below 60°C as the covering material (3); covering a steel plate (2: deck plate) with the selected covering material (3) to form the coating layer; laminating an epoxy resin-based adhesive layer (4) on the coating layer (3); and forming a concrete layer (5) by laminating concrete containing cement over the adhesive layer (4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
