Abstract:
To provide a method where catalytic cracking light oil and desulfurized decanted oil which are hardly converted to light oils are cracked without generating cokes.
In the method for cracking hydrocarbon oil, at least one hydrocarbon oil selected from catalytic cracking oil and desulfurized decanted oil, and water are uniformly mixed so that the molar ratio of the hydrocarbon oil to the water (the raw material hydrocarbon oil/the water) is controlled to 0.01 to 100, and the mixture of the hydrocarbon oil and the water is subjected to cracking reaction in the supercritical state of the water wherein the temperature is 280 to 580C and the pressure is 22.1 to 50.0 MPa.
